Multiple sources have told Escape Collective that TotalEnergies is in negotiations to divert its cycling sponsorship away from the second-division French ProTeam and instead put that money toward a co-title sponsorship of Ineos Grenadiers starting in 2026.

The British WorldTour team has been looking for additional sponsorship in the past few months, with its owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe unwilling to fund the team any more than the reported €50mm he already spends each year.
