Now that the secret is finally out and Demi Vollering has penned a two-year deal with FDJ Suez, will the French team replace SD Worx-Protime as the leading team in women’s cycling?
Vollering, soon to be 28, joins FDJ after four years at SD Worx where she cemented her reputation as the best GC rider in the women’s peloton, winning the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the 2024 Vuelta a España Femenina as well as several smaller stage races and one-day races.
Her new teammates include Juliette Labous and Évita Muzic, both potential grand tour winners, as well as the incoming Elise Chabbey and rising star Ally Wollaston.
“We have big ambitions and we are really excited about the future,” FDJ-Suez’s manager Stephen Delcourt told Velo. “After 19 seasons we’re always improving to be step-by-step one of the best teams.”
